Title: Conceptions of the Self - Home - Mei's Fanfic Master List
FIC Summary: [2007, AU] Sore throats, nightmares, and the differences between organics and Cybertronians - something is terribly wrong with Sam. To live is to evolve, and shape alone is not enough; think of it as a mutual learning experience. (Bot!Sam, Mech/mech)

This is SO COOL. Why are you not posting the interludes on fanfiction? They're interesting and absorbing and REALLY WELL WRITTEN and they FIT.

Anyway, this is amazing.

Looking forward for your next chapter.

*wails* because they throw my chapter count off! BB'S INTERMISSION AND JAZZ'S WERE BAD ENOUGH.

Though I suppose that my only other alternative is to keep posting intermissions there until I have ten, and therefor make chapter twenty into chapter thirty instead. HMM.

oh hai! I seem to have stumbled across this lovely story and DAMN if it isn't amazing. The only sad thing is...I don't know if it's still going or not. I know that the author (you) has been gone for a period of time and that this was the most recent installment to the story, but do you plan to keep going? I really hope ya do. I mean...this story...is just so amazing. ;w;

o hai 2 u 2!
Although it's true that CotS has gone on hiatus (for the second time), it's also true that it's by no means abandoned. It just takes a special frame of mind for me to write it, and I got shook out of it. At the moment, I seem to be experiencing technical difficulties of the wetware, but I'm troubleshooting, so hopefully another installment should be appearing soon.

Haha, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I might have actually left it on hiatus if I didn't know that people were enjoying the read. :B

aw, second Hiatus? Bleeeh. I guess I understand, but you should know...that this is one of the best if not THE best Transformer story I have read to this day, and I have read a good lot. XD I actually found your FF.net page and have continued to read the story there, but I do hope you shall come back! I understand being shaken out of a fic writing stage, and I'm sure the people who follow my stories are readying the pitch forks, but yeah. Anyways! I hope things go well and I hope to see more of ya soon! Hope you're having some fun holidays too! ^ ^

It's funny, I was just thinking, what about the parents here? And then I found this!! It explains so much... until I read that Judy was part of S7, and my mind was BLOWN!!

...at the same time... you'd think that maybe his parents would have been more accepting (with the Witwicky madness and S7-ness), of whatever Sam told them... or at least, that's what I thought was happening when he was blocking his memories in chapter 10.

I LOVE THIS STORY THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I squee each time I see an update.

Judy's just too spunky not to make into a ExS7SPY!

The whole thing with Sam's blocked memories goes like this:
Sam: oh hai gais, I'mma be a robot.
Ron: ... wut.
Judy: NEVAR PHEAR, BB! I KNOW PEOPLE! WE CAN FIX IT! WITH TECHNOLOGY!
Sam: WTF S7?!?!?! *betrayed*

So rather than hate his mommy, he made himself forget that she was part of S7, who he holds a psychotically deep resentment for. It wasn't that his parents didn't accept what they were hearing, it was that Sam couldn't deal with the revelation.

:D I'M GLAD YOU'RE ENJOYING! I'm still trying to work through my writer's block/style-corruption, but it's not abandoned!

I SEEEEEEEE!!!!! that make MUCH more sense to me. :)

I'd make a joke about denial, but seeing as Sam's already fallen into a BIGGGG lake, it's a moot point by now.

:DDDD

Haha, yes. You were probably mislead by Sam, cos he couldn't figure out why he'd block the memories and just assumed disowning. Sam is a wildly unreliable narrator, though, so ...

OH GOD. Sam's denial. Epic. Just Epic. Homer could write a dozen tales about it and still only scrape the top of the iceberg.
