Just to comment even further on this chapter (wrote a review on FF):

I ADORE the Sideswipe/Sam interaction in this chapter. I've always had a fondness for Sideswipe, but you made me like him even more :-)
Also, it's nice to see Sam can 'bond' with other bots - have a feeling he's gonna need that.

As for the timegap; I can soo live with this. I don't even know why I wan't to read more Sam/other-bots-than-Bee interaction. Must be because I can't help but imagine their reaction to Sam, what'll happen etc., but really...I'm more than ready for Sam and Bee to meet really soon (also kind of dreading it - I honestly have no idea how things will turn out)

I had to look up Cliffjumper on TFwiki: Small, red, brash, violent and hating Con's, right?

I like LJ, because I can keep track of what I say, which is not true for FF.N pms >:( Also, LJ gives me more comment formatting options and doesn't eat things.

Cos it's creepy when people are solely independent on each other? IDK, that was part of the reason why I kept throwing in Mikaela and Miles in the first ten chapters. Sam has to interact with more people than Bee, although interacting with Bee is Teh Yay!

Anyway, this was SO worth the wait...and making me moan in frustration as I now WANT MOAR, DAMNIT! Is the bit skipped by your jump-cut going to be a flashback chapter or another "Interlude"? I have a feeling that, if it's an interlude, you might wanna put it up on ff.net or your fans who follow you there will scream.

And your cliffhanger...I'm suddenly picturing Sam bounding over to Jazz with all the speed that his little chasebot body can muster, ending in a tacklehug with relieved babbling that makes absolutely no sense to the twins and the others.

I'm also picturing Ratchet's reaction...to wit, barreling out of his repair-bay at full speed. If someone manages to make him pause, he'd immediately demand air transport to get to Sam faster because 1) baby-bot needs to be checked for injury/repaired/software checked to make sure he got through the transition sane and 2) Wheeljack is there! No, I think the whole Samspect of the gap is part narrative recount and part while-it-happens. Also, next chapter has the potential to be huge. It isn't even average length yet, but it has the potential to be long.

SAM IS JAZZ'S HOMIE. Or is that the other way around?! HMM. MYSTERIOUS.

Oh god, I think I broke something laughing at your Ratchet Response. I always knew that Ratchet was going to assault Sam with a battery of tests, but lol, Barreling out? Awesome. And he would SO rip Prime a new one. Why? We're not sure. Except that Ratchet has been grudging hard against Prime since this whole Sam debacle began.

LOL NO :D Of all the ways I've written the 'Counterparts and Sam get back to America and the Autobots' arc, in none of them has Mikaela known about Sam. There was never a reason for anyone to tell her. And yes, she had epically bad reactions every time.

Although, this one will probably play out a little differently because this time it took Sam longer to get back, which mean behind the scenes things had a chance to develop a lot further than previously. :\

OH DON'T WORRY. Soon, the whole BB and Sam thing will take front seat. For the most part. I mean, there's still plot and wot, but mostly Sam won't be worried about it. Plus, since Jazz just Twittered everyone, including Bee, before he thought better of it, I can't exactly put off the reunion much longer.

RE: Second Movie
It's because they already sold us on giant transforming robots. Sequel producers forget that they have to sell us on the sequel, too, but they know we'll watch it even if we don't like it :\
If they had continued to try to sell us on Transformers in the sequel, it would have been SO AWESOME.
