Right now, I am teaching ratios, proportions, and the relationship between fractions, decimals, and percents. To keep the kids interested, we are doing a side project that connects to this type of math. I just got back from the Georgia Aquarium, the world's largest. All I have to say is WOW! You all need to come visit me this summer so that I can take you. It truly is the most amazing aquarium I have ever experienced. The two highlights are the 5 Beluga whales and 2 whale sharks (Ralph and Norton). So I went to the Ben Folds concert, and it was amazing! It was a 3 hour sing-along. My voice was a bit hoarse by the end because I sang the whole time. It felt like it lasted all of 5 minutes. I saw Disney on Ice: The Incredibles at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday. It was great, except for the fact that Tomorrowland got the shaft. Buzz Lightyear came out and skated around, and that was it! FYI, this week VH1 is airing their I Love the 80s 3D series (their third go at capturing the 80s with a comedic twist). On Tuesday, at 9:00, they are showcasing 1982. They are supposed to have a blurb about Epcot. I'm curious to see what their comments are, and what vintage footage of Epcot they have to show. So tune in!
