It seems that I am going to be back in the States living here for good. The weird thing for me is how foreign the States seem right now. Last week here
I got to perform in 5 festivals this year. Apart from the festivals, I got to perform almost every month of the passed year. I have had the opportunity to create various choreographies. This is a weird fact
There is a calendar up on the wall in the theater that I work at that shows the dates of all the shows that are put on here. Normally the groups that perform are theater or dance companies. Sometimes a children's play comes through and every now and again a clown group will put on a show. There are even concerts from time time ( Read more... ) -

The UCSUR presentation of Pasos Porte
Yesterday was the presentation of Pasos Porte in the theater Ella Dunbar in Lima, Peru. It was a strange performance. Cindy and I showed up at 10:00 am to do a technical run of the show. Tommy made an interesting point in a recent post I read of his. Very few people use LJ anymore. Most people have moved on to bigger and better things I guess. It is strange though. Now I am in Chile
I got to Santiago de Chile. It was a two and a half day bus ride from Lima, Peru. The Chilean desert looks alot like tucson. Just missing the saguaros. A family of dancers here is setting us up. They are really cool and very generous. I thought Chile was going to be one of the poorest in South America. I have no idea why I thought that. It seems ( Read more... ) -
