I just went to 3 different bookstores of the BN/Borders persuasion looking for Bay Area papers. It surprised me that those stores carried only the local papers--I swear I remember seeing in the NY/LI BNs papers from other states. :P

"My husband was out of town and all I got to do was nurse a cold"

Bleh. Not feeling up to writing a good post. Some short tidbits:

--Need a tshirt saying "My husband ran a marathon and all I got was a lousy could"

--Almost done with armoire

--I want to hibernate

--I want to have children. I'm just mortally afraid of them.

This week I had the most expensive hot chocolate of my life: $270 for a grande hot chocolate at starbucks and the $21 illegal parking ticket to go with the whip cream. Pfftbt ( Read more... )

Had a blast at the hoot last night. My headache/nausea did act up eventually, and I still had fun. The new parent ratio was high which causes me to heave a bit. I know I want children, I'm just afraid of them, to quote DLG. I was also tense with the Marathon being today. I have no idea how joe will feel afterwards. I dropped Joe off before 7 am. The drop-off place was in the Continental Airlines Arena, located in a mutated cloverleaf of a road inside the sports complex. We picked a good car to follow, and other cars picked us to follow, leading a bunch of first timers successfully to the bus lot ( Read more... )

Nothing much to say--just endlessly sleepy. The leftover Indian food was the highlight of the day :)

Went shopping Friday at JJill. Still recouping from the horrid experience of being naked under harsh lights.

The air hung like wet socks this morning--I could hear Joe's train in the distance as I went into our building, a couple of miles away. The bed called and I twisted and turned for half an hour listening to NPR. Both Brookdale and WNYC are having the Fall membership drive, which is helpful to usher me into the shower.
