I remember an old post you did about loving Robin McKinley's BEAUTY. When the first phrase of 'Will you marry me, Beauty?' came up , my heart broke. This was a beautiful retelling and, no offense to Maggie and Brenna whose stories I dearly love, you are my favourite. Really. So, brava! You have done us lovers of Beauty and the Beast a great service! Brava!

<3 Thanks! And BEAUTY was really the book that set me off on this path toward writing fantasy and fairy tales. Absolutely my favorite. I had to try hard to base this story on the old fairy tale and not just that novel - it's so fixed in my head. Hee hee.
