New Year...
So much has been going on, and quite rightly so ... my family took over my life. The dance group has gone into hibernation, my music is bandless, my work life is on hold to maternity leave, my travel is limited by dead car, my friendship circle has shrunk to a dear and select few who can put up with my no shows and post natal depression. 10 weeks and charting...
Finally at 10 weeks old he's back on the weight chart... ok he's only just hit the 0.4th centile so we've still got a way to go before he catches up, but Dr K seems to think if he carries on at this rate, he could catch up in 2 months ! At birth he was plotted at starting from the 75th centile line - personally I'd adjust that to the 50th as he ( Read more... ) -
Let out for good behavior...
Well it's been the hardest 4 weeks of my life, but we made it. We are home from hospital with small 9 week old boy (not back up to birth weight, but hope he'll be there by the end of the week). So they think he intolerant to milk, and now he's off the TPN feed and has no tubes coming out of him, we're bottle feeding him Nutramigin AA formula (it's ( Read more... ) -
A lovely bank holiday...
Despite not sleeping well last night, having a stinking cold, swollen feet and ankles and my hands flaring up, I've had a really nice day. Caught up with various friends and family members, in between housework (phone calls from Vanessa and Emma and a visit from Vince). Even got visited by two very polite JW's. A spot of pre-baby shopping... for me.
I decided that with only 12 days to go before my due date, I should go to town and do a bit of shopping while I still can. I got some theatre tickets for a show my sister wants to see. Not sure if I'll be seeing it with her or if my brother will have to step in, but either way it'll be cool (I've already seen Avenue Q in London, so I'll not be ( Read more... ) -

Sunnyday
We're home and sunburnt, after a long weekend of showers and sunshine and rain. It was sunny for the putting up and taking down of tents which was grand - esp. with one of the tents being broke before we started (brand new tent with a cracked metal pole joint), which meant it took 3 of us over an hour to get sorted - instead of 20 mins ( Read more... ) -

Well this morning I woke up at 6am and decided to clean the kitchen and bathroom floors, which was closely inspected by Eliza. So the last of my washing is in the machine and only one more load to do. I've got the usual family day today, and visiting TLH for tea and a chat - and maybe some drumming with George.
