I'm getting married in three days. And we did the house inspection today on the house we're making an offer on, and the inspection turned up nothing big. Wow, we just might be buying a house. Holy crap.

Working tomorrow, and then not again until the following Thursday. I wonder if I'll be able to concentrate much on work tomorrow. ;-)

Ugh... Spent nearly all day at work tackling a serious failure of our file server's hardware. RAID card died. Not cool. Fortunately, the machine was still under a big, beefy mission critical warranty, so I was able to get spare parts and a technician on-site within hours to fix it. Still, one hell of a day. Well, tonight was my bachelor party. The guys threw it at Maria and Jose's house (since Jose is my best man). Meanwhile, the girls threw Maria's bachelorette party at a restaurant/game center kinda place. Mmm... This evening Maria and I took advantage of a half-price deal on one of the all-you-can-eat restaurants at the MGM Grand casino in Detroit. The food there was great as always. And for the money it was even better... :-)

Well, the wedding was beautiful, and the whole weekend was a lot of fun. From the big pizza dinner after the rehearsal on Friday, to the wedding and reception themselves on Saturday, to the big celebration at the park on Sunday, I think everyone had a wonderful time, and I know I did. Well, Saturday is the big day. My brother will officially become the first among my parents' children to get married. And then three days later, he and his wife are moving to North Carolina to start graduate school. I mean, wow.
