Of course I am thrilled with our next president. It also occurred to me that this is actually the first time ever that "my" candidate won. I feel strangely sentimental about him, moreso than many other entertainers who have passed away. Maybe it's because I grew up with his movies, or maybe it's something about his everyman style. He was always so *earnest*. And even though he was playing some pretty old characters already 10-20 years ago, it still seems strange that he was 75. ( Read more... )
