It's really been hitting me today; from Saturday on - a mere three days away - I get to come home to my David every, single evening, until whenever that changes, if it does. I've been getting all caught-up and teary if I think about it. I just can't believe it :)

Awesome weekend in Durham with David for a wedding and much-looked-forward-to visit with Emma and Chris. Was fantastic to finally see David's beloved second city - absolutely gorgeous, like a tiny Edinburgh :D
Am utterly exhausted now, but will hopefully update more later, when not posting from my phone in work :)

Am feeling very crap and sulky and left-out because everyone went to the Gathering and had great fun and I couldn't go and will probably never be able to afford to go LRPing again and I never got to see Raun again and lots of things have happened that I can't follow and the world's rushing on without me and whine whine moan cry ( Read more... )

Well, the landlord had it narrowed down to three potential tenants and the only way he could decide between them was to put the names in a hat, from which I was the second drawn out. Ah well. Went to view a house last night for David and me - gorgeous, perfect, love it, want it! Having *finally* watched the last ever ER......Noooooooooooo! How can you end it like that??!!!!! Aaaaarrrggh!

Though there really wasn't any other way to end it, as it was a never a story/stories that would come to an end, we just happened to see 15 years of a long-ongoing life documented.

But I wanna see what happens next!

In a mad fit of clearing-out efficiency mam brought several large black sacks full of stuff to the charity shop on Friday, including the one that had *all* my clean underwear in it, taken hastily off the clothes horse.

Methinks a (knicker-free) trip to Penney's is next on my agenda today :D

*sigh* I will probably not be going to Somerset today after all. Have neglected/not been able to do important stuff during the week so it has to be done on weekends and last weekend was a wedding and David being over, so to ignore it this weekend would be bad.
