I actually ran into John in Austin! I was sitting by the river listening to Nada Surf and he walked by. We talked for a couple of minutes, and then I headed to the Madvillain party. It was great to see him again, and anyway, it was rather chilly during the latter days of SXSW, so don't worry about missing out on the heat.
