Well it's Ash Wednesday, the end of carnival and the beginning of Lent and apparently the time to be giving up things until Easter. I'm trying the no chocolate regime just to see how it goes. It's the morning/day of your party when you're meant to be looking pretty for the night ahead and what happens? You get a huge f**king cold sore! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Got back to Hameln at 1am this morning, went straight to bed but couldn't get to sleep because of the cold - even though the heating was on full blast. Think I eventually slept at 3 or 4am. Didn't realise that my year abroad would leave me with so few options of where and whom to live with next year. Practically everyone will be gone and those that are actually left have already sorted their accommodation out since December. Why am I always the last to know?! Well this last week has been pretty pointless. As well as not being needed on monday because of Methodentag, tuesday I only had two lessons (which involved watching the last 30 minutes of Love Actually with the year 10s), and wednesday the kids got their reports for the first half-year so school finished after period 3 at 10:35am!
