Music blared through the air, the bass pounded with earth shattering force, a rhythm that rumbled through the dance floor. The energy had the crowd grooving, grinding, and pressing up against each other. Sweat covered limbs crashed and clashed as the dancers battled for more space, more air, and just enough elbow room to wrap arms around the object of their desires. Nayoung felt the intoxicating song work its way through her body like a powerful pulse. She swayed her hips and pumped her chest, the hem of her skirt crawling ever higher to reveal a perfect milky thigh. Drinks were passed throughout the club and her head began to swim. Her world began to swirl around and around.

Nayoung was vaguely aware of thick arms wrapping around her waist and warm kisses trailing down her neck. A soft purr escaped her lips as her body melded with another. Scratches, bites, and burning but pleasurable pain filled the night.

He wasn’t able to come back to Cheonan. She felt hurt and bitter, and the rest was history. She promised herself that she wouldn’t regret anything that happened from spending her 21st birthday alone. Revenge seemed like a good idea until she woke up with a stranger in her bed.

Things were never going to be the same again, she couldn’t take it back. She couldn’t even hide it, her fling had answered her phone. Nayoung tilted her head back and groaned, she had been wondering what that incessant buzzing noise was.... She prayed that it wasn’t Yesung calling, but of course god didn’t answer to hangovers and she ended up lying to her long distance boyfriend. ‘Classmate’ she said. ‘Late night study group.’ and all he asked was when she would be arriving in Seoul. ‘Early next Saturday’ was her reply. ‘I love you too.’

She felt dirty and incredibly guilty. Loneliness didn’t explain away what she did, but their relationship had been falling apart for a some time now. They promised each other nothing would change, that he would be back after college. But the nightly calls soon became weekly calls, the weekly calls became monthly calls, and then even those diminished to texts and birthday wishes. They had moved on with their own lives and their own circle of friends. She should have told him it wasn’t working anymore. She should have told him she was no longer coming, but like a coward, she kept her mouth shut and hoped that Yesung would be the one to walk away.

Ryeowook was having nightmares, nightmares of being left behind. He didn’t want to be alone. He kept chasing after a shadowy figure and that shadow only got further and further away. He couldn’t explain it, but he knew this person was the one he loved. Tears brimmed his eyes, Don’t...don’t leave me...please...wait...

“Hyung!” He bolted up from his bed, dazed and sweaty.

When his eyes focused, he squealed in shock. A pair of dark, brooding eyes were staring back into his own. A small hand brushed across his forehead and full lips tilted into a pout, “You okay Wookie?”

Ryeowook turned red in the face, his all-too-delectable hyung was perched on the edge of his bed, the plush lips mere centimeters away from his own.

“You’re burning up, are you feeling sick?”

“Um, no...I was just having a nightmare.” Ryeowook’s face burned hotter.

“You were screaming, what were you dreaming of?” the husky voice washed over him in wave.

“I can’t remember...” Ryeowook stared at Yesung, his hair damp from the shower, there were dark circles under his eyes. “You look tired, Hyung.”

Yesung yawned, “It’s 5am, I just got back from the radio station.”

Ryeowook frowned. Yesung worked three jobs, to ‘make ends meet.’

“Are they even paying you at the radio station?”

Yesung smiled sheepishly, “A little, but Hyung-nim is helping me put together a demo.” Yesung smoothed Ryeowook’s hair back from his face, “I don’t mind working graveyard.”

Ryeowook pouted. Yesung never listened to the younger man when he lectured about how much he was working, how he never got any rest, and how he was getting thinner by the day. Ryeowook lectured him about getting sick, about wearing himself too thin, but Yesung always smiled and ignored it.

“You could at least quit one...”

Yesung’s eyes started to droop, “Move over, Wookie.”

Before Ryeowook could register what was said, Yesung propped his legs up on Ryeowook’s tiny bed and pulled the covers over himself, “Tired.”

“Y-you have your own bed...” Ryeowook’s feeble protest was drowned out by Yesung’s soft snores.

The older man was wiped out, lines of stressed were etched in the corners of his lips. Ryeowook traced his fingers over the soft skin of Yesung’s face, his heart ached. The young man watched over his hyung to make sure Yesung caught a few hours of precious sleep. I think I love you, Hyung, but that was something he couldn’t say out loud. Yesung still had his high school sweetheart waiting for him back in Cheonan.

A/N: Umm, I promise more Yewook for the next part. I just needed to get the girlfriend out of the way. ^^ Thank you for reading~ ♥
