why i hate insurance companies
insurance is supposed to be there when you need it. i understand that you pay money just in case something bad happens. which is why i'm sure nobody's being ripped off when the companies report multi-billion-dollar profits every quarter.

i got a note in my school mailbox that said, "you really like to say 'okay.' we counted how many times you said it for 27 minutes. april fools (late). sincerely, anonymous" then there were hatch marks. 125 hatch marks.

weekend report
friday ended the 3rd quarter at school. i was very proud of finishing all of my grading before leaving the building. i think that's a first (my being on schedule, not finishing grades).
over the weekend, my friend G and i drove up to seattle to visit friends. it was good to see J and cosmicironymag for his house warming party and her easter brunch. good ( Read more... ) -

the radio guy
r.i.p., mr. carneal.
i'm a big baseball fan, and i always root for the underdogs (go, twins!). watching the games on tv is okay, but somehow, the games sounded more real when listening to herb carneal announcing the plays on the radio. he had the voice that went with the game. -

olde english = funny. pickin random ones, my favorite so far is this one: first date. -
vacation
aka, it's my spring break, too!
just spent a coupla days in cannon beach, on the coast. pretty. or, it woulda been pretty, had the weather cooperated. i can take the 50-degree temperatures, but when you add 30mph winds and some rain, it's nasty. dangit. was hopin' to get some pictures, but they'll hafta wait for next time.
