Control can also wreck us, though. A little is good, certainly, but if you're taking your psyche and just trying to force it to be the way you want, you're gonna snap one day. It's not humanly possible -- or even healthy or good for us -- to try to do that. If you just try to control your emotions, you can't understand them and find healthy ways to express them. It's like wearing a corset -- you can pull it super-tight and make yourself LOOK super-thin and shapely, but you're actually causing physical damage to your internal organs

"I know that alot of mental conditions CANT be controlled except by medication. but I dont feel thats me"
Sometimes part of the problem is an element of the condition keeping you from admitting that you need help beyond your own means. Perhaps you can speak to a professional who might be able to offer some more experienced guidance about your feelings to help you overcome that last little obstacle you feel is there. Or perhaps a medication, even short term, might be the solution to get you there. Don't frustrate yourself unnecessarily, try other solutions, even those that require you to rely on others. *hugs* Good luck!
As someone who also fights with anxiety and a form of depression, as you might remember, I have bipolar disorder. I chose to take the "high road" and fight it out without medications

I know what you mean bud, just seems I can't relate to many of my friends anymore and things I used to enjoy just seem trivial and unimportant. Sometimes I feel I'm just going through some motions to make everybody else feel comfortable, but seldom get anything like that from others. I really wish we could talk and hangout and junk but that seems next to impossable. Take care man *offers a hug*
