I just got home after spending all day at the office. Literally, I woke up, went to my office, did a bunch of work in the morning, went to class, sat through my office hours (no visitors) and then just got home around 7:15. I'm growing old.

I just got back from a weekend in Bloomington where I found a place to live in the fall. It will protect me from the hot Bloomington sun. Also, it's a pretty nice one-bedroom apartment about 1.5 miles from campus (with a bus stop literally right outside my door that takes me to literally right outside the building that houses the philosophy ( Read more... )

So I think I'm gonna start boxing this summer. Bliss goes to the UM Boxing Club meetings a couple days a week, and I think they meet in the summer, and I'd like to toughen myself up a bit.

So my family and I are going to Hawaii for a vacation. We leave this Sunday and we have layovers in Houston and Los Angeles. Now, I don't mind long plane rides. In fact, I rather enjoy them. I get time to read, to get some work done, etc.

So I'm an alumnus now. Commencement was today. The best part was the steak my parents bought me for lunch or dinner or whatever meal that was.
