Day 26 of mono. Thank god the paralyzing muscle pain portion of the sickness is over. I start every morning feeling pretty okay, but by noon, it's downhill in terms of energy level and my throat starts hurting again. I have mono. Today is day 11 of mono. Previously diagnosed as strep. I was hoping my full-body aches were a flu symptom, but no such luck. I really thought mono was tiredness as opposed to paralyzing muscle pain and stiffness. I am hobbling around like an old woman ( Read more... )

Can't find a third recommender for grad school apps. I am going to grovel at the feet of a former anthro prof on Monday, nervous as shit. Otherwise, I will have to wait til next year and get a recommendation from SAIS prof, which don't get me wrong, would be a good thing for my application.
