I find it kind of funny that they're trying to name H Street NE after a segregated theater. Even if it is a major landmark in the area, what are they invoking as they try to name the whole commercial center "the Atlas District"? Oh well, it'll be de facto whites-only soon enough, anyway. I'm not sure why my mother never mentioned this freakish daily occurrence of her childhood until now, but apparently, it's a Polish tradition upon entering a house to say:

“Niech będzie pochwalony Jezus Chrystus” (Praised be Jesus Christ)

And the person in the home responds:

“Na wieki wieków. Amen!” (Forever and ever. Amen.)
