knitting mojo, where have you gone?

i think i have a knitting-specific attention deficit disorder -- i can't seem to focus on any one project long enough to actually finish anything. in my defense, i *have* been doing a lot of spinning lately. that definitely cuts into the knitting time...but still, my UFO pile is getting a bit out of hand. ( here's what i've got going on the needles at the moment: )

sounds like the post I made a few weeks ago. I am going to dig through my stash and pull all partial projects out and organize during craft day this saturday. I'll probably end up ripping some out, and hopefully finishing some by the end of the weekend.

You do know that you are welecome to come up here for those if you want? (I understand it is a long way)

i think your craft days sound AWESOME. thanks for the extra invite -- i would love to come for one. i've got some wedding-related plans for this saturday, but i'll definitely try to make it up to another one. maybe i could even convince heliotrope689 to come with me...

After not touching the needles for months, I finally picked them up a few weeks ago. Got mom's thing going plus this baby kimono. Also thinking about a log-cabin-style patchwork quilt thing (maybe?) out of all my scraps.

i think that thing for your mom looks beautiful, and i can't wait to see how the kimono works out.

It doesn't look half bad! I've got the right side done. Just started on the left side. Am thinking about doing cuffs as well. You know, I've blocked anything. I'll need help with that part.

HA! sorry -- i meant to put a footnote in there explaining that acronym, and it slipped my mind. UFO = UnFinished Object.

fortunately, my work-in-progress pile hasn't reached the point where individual items can't be identified anymore...but give me a couple more months. ;0)
