Went to a generic cheap hair place today, got it all chopped off. Been wanting to donate hair to locks of love for a while, finally did it.

I think I need to go to a more expensive salon to fix the trim job they did, though.

About a week and a half to two weeks ago, I saw a sad little grassy plant in the garbage at my boyfriend's lab. It was labeled "Garlic Chives." Apparently it had belonged to his lab manager, who had gotten it when IFAS was giving away free "control" plants. Today, I saw a bumper sticker on a car that read, "Abortion stops a heartbeat."

My first thought was, "Yes, isn't that the point?"

(I'm pro-choice, but personally I wouldn't get an abortion except under dire circumstances.)

(N.B. If abortion didn't exist, then neither would I.)

I was introduced to Picasa today and I wanted to play with their face recognition software. Of course, I had to test it, so I put in some pictures of my grandparents' family portraits.
