I oversaw an inventory this morning at one of our local stores, so I came home unexpectedly for lunch. Let me emphasise the unexpectedly part of that sentence. As in, "the NEENER did not expect me to come home at that time of the day". Yes, I think you can see where this is going ( Read more... )

You know, that's awesome. Esp. the part where it starts out so normally. You say hello to the kitties, and it's not like they said, in cat language "Wave off! Wave off! Not now, Minotaur. Neener is not expecting you." Which, you know, on the one hand, I'm sort of sad the cats didn't manage to communicate that part.

On the other hand, I'm sort of equally suspicious that what they were really saying was "Heh. So watch what happens when Minotaur sees this."

yeah, I'm with that. Cats are like "oh, it's you, here at an unexpected time...well, you're gonna see what that gets you."

(of course if they're like my cats, they were probably present and getting an eyeful earlier -- or getting curious at the wrong time and sticking paws/noses in sensitive places until they get summarily locked out of the room)
