Weekend observations
- My personal time lag between playing five-a-side football and being unable to move any of my limbs is between 24 and 36 hours.
- My personal detox time after a weekend out on the town with a mob of Newcastle United fans is as yet undetermined, due to still being in progress.

You could probably read something into the fact that my forays into LJ posting are invariably either late at night or on the rare occasions that I'm actually up early.
Anyway, I just wanted to have a minor squee because I booked some tickets yesterday, and ( I like booking tickets. ) -

Well, if you can't attend Eurovision itself, I suppose the next best thing is to be holidaying in the winning country when they have their moment of glory.
Then ending up singing the winning song together with a 50,000-strong crowd of mad locals when the singer returns home to a hero's reception.
