i'm so tired of looking for a job. i went to a "group interview" at the container store the other night and they handed us catalogs to look at while we were waiting for the interviewing to start and we all had to take them and look at them like we actually gave a shit.
but it turns out that they hire only 7% of applicants, it's harder than getting into stupid college.
if you need help with the Fafsa, just let me know. I've just finished filling one out. It took me at least three months of just staring at it to finally put my head down and start swinging.
1. congrats on resigning. jaime's right and i'm happy you've got some freedom.
2. bummer that i can't help with fafsa. i love a good beurocratic red-tape dogfight. the good news is now that you're married, the state of texas takes good, christian pity on you as far as combined household income goes and you'll get plenty of financial aid, especially now that you're unemployed.
what are you shooting for? if you consider uhcl's literature program, make sure you email frith and he can hook it up with the two or three professors who love the shit out of him and therefore you through association.
p.s. all you have to do is dare me, and i'm jumping on the smith college bandwagon with you...i'm serious.
yeah, u of h clear lake. but not next semester-i wouldn't feel comfortable applying under our current transportation situation. when i do apply, i'll be sure to use frith as my way smart older brother-type reference.
about smith...i'll do some research and dare you later.
FAFSA is easy if you have all your info. start it as soon as you can to avoid a mess later on of "this is what you're missing".
you're going to start to feel better about things soon. i was out with ty and irene last night, they were hoping you'd still be around socially. i assured them you would. so please do.
it's amazing how many people have assumed i'll stop socializing in galveston...on the contrary!! i won't be in the middle of things anymore, true, but at least i'll be able to actually hang out when i'm there, ya know?
i'm going to call you to see if you want spaghetti tonight...
