Also, I had this argument with someone the other day who said you can always prepare for the trains to fuck up enough to be on time. I said she was totally wrong for reasons exactly like this. She didn't get that things like this happen. I'm sorry you've proven me right.

oh man that sucks...a similar thing happened to me at christmas, I took a taxi thinking it would be fast than the train/bus to laguardia, but the taxi got stuck in traffic and I, too, missed my flight, and was on standby all day on christmas eve.

trains, taxis, and airports can all shove it. lol. if only we could beam ourselves everywhere.
