moutains are natural amplifiers......of your energy, they are like power points...... I love mountains.....I go out to the woods and mountains a lot......... I feel like me when I am out there...... I like to go alone, but sometimes.... I bring the dog....... hope you have a good day...... full of love....

I totally have a mountain like that: It's where I go to clear my head, or just be with things that aren't people. In the Fall a lot of people head up that mountain to look at the leaves - I always feel slightly intruded upon when I come across people while hiking. I want to say "hey, get off my mountain", but that would sound crazy.

haha it wouldn't sound crazy to me. i feel intruded upon when other people sit on my wall--and it's a state park! i can't exactly be territorial!!

I have a place like that at Sumatanga. Right on top of the mountain on a huge rock over-hang. Sumatanga means "a place of rest and vision" and that's what it is. Nothing weird about having a place like that. :) We all could use it.

monte sano is probably my favorite place in huntsville. a couple of times a week, i'll ride my bike up bankhead, go through the park starting at the barricade where bankhead has a sharp switchback, and ride up to the lookout at the top. it never ceases to amaze me

now if it would only snow in the winter, we'd be in for a spectacular view!

hey we've gotten a LITTTLE snow here... once or twice... yeah you're right, snow would be nice, but it'd definitely make those mountain roads treacherous.

heh i was actually going to say that it might be more fun that way, but i had second thoughts. biking on a snowy mountain might be a bit too much excitement for me, but SLEDDING... now i could definitely go for that
