I stupidly added my two cents to my cousin's facebook thread about gay marriage and the responses of her hyper christian homophobic friends are make me die a little inside.  I don't know if I should back out or wear them down with calm intelligent responses.  I think they're mostly teen-college age Oklahomans who could use exposure to another

Swine Flu Baby made a full recovery.  I guess it's a pretty normal type flu now.

It is 64 outside and 62 in my office. I've got a coat, blanket, and hot tea. Still shivering.

Work things are better, but I keep fantasizing about getting preggers, so I'd have a good excuse to cut down to half days.

Now our living room reeks because those damn skunks found our porch too freaking romantic to keep it in their pants until they got back to their skunky love nest.

My dad's recently been talking about retiring on an island and becoming a writer.  When I asked what he liked to write about, he replied," I don't know. . . . I was offered a job today as a Children's Therapist with an agency I love.  I told them I'd like the evening to think it over and sleep on it because that seemed like a reasonable thing to do. Tension = Working a 12 hour day, chugging a liter of Dr. Pepper (this is like a month's worth of caffeine for me), and then trying not to snap while watching the debate with my Sarah-Palin-loving father-in-law.
