I don't know what it is (well, yeah, I do...it's God) but I have been in such a state of grace all day today. George's myspace song is "The General" by Dispatch. Hearing it made me a little sad. I have so many amazing shared memories with people that I'll very likely never see again. How is it that people can make such a huge impact on my life and only be part of it for two months ( Read more... )

I've not done any of the productive things that I said I was going to do, but I did pit electronic monkeys named Kittamaqund and Pamunkey against each other. Kittamaqund won. She's also a Man-Eating Rage Monkey. That made me laugh...a lot.

Yay! I just gave a talk on Advent (mostly an extended version of one of last week's posts) and it went really well! We got off track a couple of times, but that's to be expected with this group...

I'm off to grade papers, clean my room, and study counting theory. w00t!

A bowl of ice cream, a glass of wine, and some Smallville (I got season three on sale for only fifteen dollars over break!) makes for a mighty nice bubble bath!
