"I haven't seen the film, but by all accounts it is terrible. However I have seen the house that it built and it is definitely beautiful "

Hah! I love Michael Caine. He's the only reason I watched as much of the original Alfie as I did. It's a terribly misogynist movie, but his accent was just so adorable and he himself was oh-so-easy on the eyes.

As a bit of a movie fan myself I often wonder at some of the bigger name actors taking some of the roles they do. Then again, I absolutely love some of the bigger stars in some of the smaller roles and oddball films.

I love movies almost as much as I love my music (which is a lot).
But they mostly got ruined for me when I took a scriptwriting course as part of my postgrad. In the past 25 or so years since, there's been one movie where I couldn't tell you the ending after five minutes or so. Interestingly, it has Michael Caine in it - as a dishonest billionaire (Now you see me)

Reading your entry, I had Clint Eastwoood and Lee Van Cleef in my head right from the start thanks to your opening line.

Nicely done.

There's always a chance that it might not be awful, I suppose, at least before they start filming.
