I'm always amazed by how much stuff I simply know nothing about. Interesting, fascinating stuff that I think I know something about but really don't.

He really does. Onion rings always annoy me what with the onion sliming out of the breading at the first bite. He recommends lesks. And he is right. Leek rings taste better and don't slime.

Yum.

Yesterday we had sun. And the sun melted some of the snow. Then last got cold. And froze the snow water. Today we have no sun. But we do have sidewalks covered in black ice. On which I slipped. No love!

It was however, wonderful to have Community back again.

I'm enjoying the new season of Chuck. Last night's was my favorite, because Awesome makes everything, well, Awesome.

But the Sarah/Chuck thing? Together, or really just friends, please. No triangles, no quadrangles, no new love interests. All in, or all out. The will they or won't they grows really old and stinky by the third season.

Does anyone else watch the space shuttle sitings? NASA has a site that tells you when the space station or shuttle is visible from your location. Tonight you can see the space shuttle with the station following behind. Go check. Coolest thing ever.

So last week the water heater, this week, the toilet. Last week Monday I got the new water heater, that night the toilet started leaking. And, alas, not the seals, but the toilet. So this Monday I had a new toilet installed.

Which at least sent me into a frenzy of bathroom cleaning. And now the whole room simply gleams.

It is ninety three degrees out, the dew point is seventy three, and I am cranky. You shouldn't have to deal with thirty degree below zero wind chills and a one hundred heat index. No fair. This is the worst day, but there is no high temperature below eighty six for the foreseeable future ( Read more... )
