Serenity rocked. Great film, but I can understand how non-Firefly fans would find it confusing and/or not as compelling. Sixteen hours of getting to know the characters and their intricate relationship as well as the nuanced world that Joss Whedon created provides far more emotional investment than the 5-minute prologue and the seemingly random ( Read more... ) -

Just a quick question to the net-pros on my list:
where's the best, easiest, cheapest, and most reliable place to register a domain name?
Never really done this before so I do want someplace that's reliable. Webspace is not a problem - I just want the domain registered. -
Zombie Walk!
Last Saturday, we attended the Vancouver Zombie Walk which is more or less a flash mob event. Good fun - estimates of around 300 people dressed up as the living dead in various states of decay and shuffled from the art gallery downtown, through the Pacific Centre Mall, to the Skytrain station, boarded the skytrain to Main st. and stumbled 30 ( Read more... ) -

Camping festivals are one thing but one-night raves an hour and half outside of town is a bit much :-\.
Mental note, the next time someone asks me to play at a rave in the middle of nowhere, just say no.
