what i found to be most helpful, to avoid having others play mind games with me, leading me to believe that we could have something more...was to cut out all that bullshit from the beginning. I was really really good at playing the friends card in the beginning of many of my "friendships", as it allowed me to get really close to the people whose company I enjoyed. However, over time I found that despite the obvious attraction between the two of us (i'm 100% positive it was mutual), things were destined for doom, as neither of us were willing to break that comfort zone of being great friends with one another, to great lovers

i think you're right. in the beginning it should be relatively clean/romantic with open communication. hopefully moving forward with anyone (if ever) will be like that.

It's nice to see that you are opening up. I know that it takes a lot for you to let your feelings be known and it's always been my concern with you that you keep things bottled up inside. Do you feel better that you have put it out on the table? I wonder though, who is this mystery guy?

I hope you are having a fun vacation...maybe we should talk when you get back. It's funny that you never mentioned anything that you like someone when I saw you last...

to be honest, i'm not too sure if i feel better that i put it on the table... i think it did at least a little bit. i'm sorry that i didn't mention anything the last i saw you. you know me, i don't talk about stuff like this.

i'm finally back from vacay. just got home this morning... our flight was delyaed 3 times. we're lucky that we flew in at all, many flights were canceled, but i think i would have rather had ours canceled and stayed in el salvador an extra day...

i'll call you sometime today... i would like to chat...
