most of the preparation for Ironman China is over and done with and now in my body.  I'm pretty stoked for this race, it's the most I've ever trained for this distance, both physically and mentally.  Coach and I both know I am about to have the best race of my life ( Read more... )

I totally said hello to Pat Evoe. we were transition buddies, #13 and #14! I call him "Pizza Man" and we bonded together over being giddy about the swim getting shortened. not that it ended up helping us much...

Have a great lead up to the race. It sounds like you are prepared and ready to put it to the course. I'll be sure to put my camera on a fast shutter speed to make sure I can capture your speedy self.

what's wrong with walking? I thought walk breaks were supposed to last for like a minute or two? At least you have a faster marathon PR than me. I doubt I will try another one any time soon, two stress reactions in my feet and microtears in my MCL. Keep up the good fight.
