The director of the graduate program for nursing came to speak to our class Wednesday. I think I'm gonna do it. I think I'm going to start grad school next fall. I know that's soon, but I think that I should. I know I have the GPA to get in, and I know I'm smart enough to do the work, it would almost be a waste for me not to. School is going well. It's not nearly as stressful as I'm used to, but still stressful enough to keep me busy. I'm enjoying my clinical, for once. I don't want to work there when I'm done, but I think it's good experience. I enjoy being able to work essentially independently, yet still having someone to ask when I need it. I'm actually pretty excited about school this semester. Our clinicals are set up totally differently. We get a preceptor and gradually take on more and more patients, essentially independently, until we have a full caseload, which is most likely 6 patients. Anybody want two student guest passes to the UM basketball game on Saturday? It didn't work out for us to go so I thought I'd see if anyone happened to want them. Any takers?

I'm trying to take Michael and my dad & Sharon (his girlfriend) to the Memphis basketball game on saturday just for fun. The problem is I can only get two guest tickets as a student. Anyone a student at UM that would be willing to go to the bursar's office and get me another ticket? Please, pretty please? I would of course pay for it!

Christmas- Presents in the morning which was fun and on time, and IHOP after that which was a pain in the butt because our name mysteriously got scratched off the list and put to the bottom causing us to wait for 2 hours to get a table. Things are going better with my clinical instructor, at least for me. She passed me on my ventilator performance exam even though there were a couple things I didn't know (given, they weren't things that I had been taught).
