It's sort of weird when I watch Mockingbird, because part of me wants Peck to be my father, part of me wants him as a lover. I just can't stop seeing him as Joe Bradley in Roman Holiday.
And well, it's happened many times that people speak openly about disliking films I really enjoyed, but just recently it was Capote. Of course, I got the usual "you only liked it because it took place before you were born" joke, but really, I thought Hoffman did a fantastic job.
I use photoshop on color negatives, just because I simply do not have access to color dark room facilities. you know I'm a hard-core purist when it comes to processing technique. Well, maybe you don't know that. Well, I am.
And I'm sorry, I just really can't get into will ferrell's work. It's not that I think his humour is somehow below me, there's just something about him that makes him in my eyes rather dull. I can't really pinpoint it, and I appreciate you trying to show me the light... I just don't see it.

it's true! photoshop is the absolute nadir of modern art. you can't polish and crop life into an already dead piece.
and, am i the one who bitches about movies too much? probably not, because we never see movies together anymore. what's up with that, anyway?
