well it snowed a foot and then it was balmy and i was so angry i could feel my fingernails growing and i spoke my peace and i'm making some money and someone baked me some bread and that's what's been going on.

it snows once a week here, just one inch. but it sticks and stays and when i wake up and look outside my heart beats faster. recently i have found great peace in baking pies. pie crusts are the only area of my life which i approach with total patience. of course the crust is going to tear. when it tears, you fold it into a ball and roll it ( Read more... )
