That's awesome. We've heard a lot of good things about them and they seem to be the center of the scene around here. We've never really done the "scene thing" but are looking for some, uh, hands-on educational opportunities. :)

And also, AW. Good for you, making decisions to try new things. Not everything will be your forever-cuppa-tea but it's great to try. It's important to try. I think volunteering is one of the best things, so I wish you lots of luck.
