Really nice!

I used to work this way a lot too ~ sketch on paper and paint in photoshop.

You should try this application called the Corel Painter. It is terrific to say the least :-)

nah.. this is just my hobby. the whole point of getting the tablet was to use features in photoshop that I couldn't with a mouse as it gave me too much of a carpal tunnel pain. I still haven't got over my infatuation with Photoshop, someday I may move on...

Btw, which tablet do you work with? when I tried a colleague's intuos 2 it felt so much superior than my bamboo. I guess you get what you pay for.

No yellow duckie ?

BTW the second image looks more intriguing than the first.. would look better if the straight lines weren't there.

which straight lines?

The lines where you cropped the high-res image. The image is composed of 6 rectangles.

whatever. that's not even an image. why are you trying to find patterns in it?

Pretty. I really like the colors you chose for the butterfly.

thanks pooja. the butterfly is what I stated painting first and those were just 'trial' colours.. eventually, they started to look good and eye-catching so i left them that way. :)
