A Simple discarded object
The other day I came across this rose on the ground at Times Square. It really got me to start to wonder about why it was there. It looked so discarded. Like when it was dropped someone started to crumple it up with some emotion. Anger, sadness who knows?

Hot Summer Nights or Global Warming stole my seasons
Well summer is officially over here in NYC. (and everywhere else in the northern hemisphere) I’ve started to remember how oppressive the subways can be with heat. I think when a fast food joint doesn't have a key condiment for an item they should really tell you. It's not really fair that when I get sausage burritos to tell me you don't carry hot sauce anymore. This really hurts, my taste buds, when I know the Times Sq McDonalds has it.

When it's like this...
The day has gotten increasingly grey today. It's still warm and very humid. But it's days like this where I'd rather stay inside drink some green tea and paint and geek out a bit.
