Well, I WAS asleep, from about 11:30 til 1:30. I heard a noise, woke up, went to the bathroom, and have been too torqued up about tomorrow to drift back off. Thankfully I took a happy little yellow pill about half an hour ago, so once I finish typing this, I'll be able to snooze again. I'll be short on sleep tomorrow, but since I got a free upgrade

And duh. Don't think about plane horrors right before flying somewhere. Count backwards from a hundred in Swahili or something. I usually envision it with sheep un-leaping a fence, personally. Then I am amused and much more easily relax.

The silly thing is, I'm never afraid of flying. The 9/11 thoughts didn't stem from these flights. It's more that, depending on when Fred can get off work, our "Visit San Francisco, Eryn and Jen" trip could well occur near that anniversary.
I intend to approach Lumos thinking "I wonder what Eryn would make of this." That will should keep me distracted and/or entertained more than just about anything. :)

Them are some Severusly depressing thoughts there. Congrats on the free upgrade to first class! Free booze - WOOT!!!
I put in a written notice to have your name added to the booking so in case you get in first, check-in should be a breeze.
Don't worry about Fred I am sure Sarah will make sure he doesn't damage himself or set the house on fire or anything. I made James some brownies and spaghetti and what not so hopefully he'll remember where the litter box is and be breathing when I get back on Sunday :p
I am so psyched I probably won't sleep at all tonight... but it is storming outside and that will drop me off if anything can. Good night and see you soon!

Thank you so much, first for rooming with me, but also for going to all the trouble of working out the arrival bit. I'll print the confirmation email the hotel booking service sent me, just in case, and if worse comes to worse, there are lobbies for me to hang out in til you arrive.
If we're counting on Sarah to keep Fred from starving, I've got to say, my hopes aren't high. They're rarely awake at the same time, and Sarah doesn't so much cook as she does reheat. Though she has been known to cook pasta, so maybe there's hope after all.
I hope you did get some sleep at least. I remember the start of our last Las Vegas adventure, where you spent the first whole night walking around town all by yourself. *pets* Let's not have that happen under any circumstance, okay?
I love you. :) See you tonight.
