For those that have been updating...I am reading everything that I can.  But, at times I prefer to say nothing mainly because I know that we are all having difficult times right now.  :)  I am working on a few personal projects right now.  But, hopefully things will look up sooner than later.

As everyone knows, my adopted nephew, Wesley, was born very early and there has been many upsets since his birth.  Well, some things are finally being taken care of because of all the special prayers and thoughts that everyone has offered and continues to offer.

Wesley had to have surgery on Wednesday (10/17/07) to close the hole that was causing his blood to flow back into his heart and lungs.  He did really well with the surgery -- which is a good thing.  She was told that his blood pressure is starting to stabilize.  So, the doctors are hoping to remove the medicine for that from ( Read more... )

There has been so much on my mind lately.  I feel often, more than not, that I have no one to blame but myself for the way things have progressed.  In my eyes, that is how I have seen things for a long time.  Yes, I have had both friends and loved ones tell me that I am not to blame.  But, that doesn’t change how I feel.

Well, it seems that I have made the decision to fill out another application with my previous employer and see what happens.  Once I get it filled out and print another copy of my resume, I plan on talking with the manager and seeing if we can at least get me on as a part-time cashier.  She may be a little upset because I truly don't want to work ( Read more... )

Well, my morning has started out with a twist.  As I was getting up, my oldest was walking out the door to catch the bus.  He comes back in and asks us to turn on the news because the neighbor informed him that there was no school today.  So, Mom switches the channel she was watching -- and we are being informed that all area schools, ( Read more... )
