This is my very belated post of summer fanfiction recommendations. I would do it earlier, but all the heated debates about issue #36 distracted me for a while... So, without much preamble:

I'm also about to post a Season 8 Spuffy fic that I think will be very close to canon.

Tentative "squeeee!" (I'm very afraid of canon now - not because of the ships, but because of events beyond ships).

I remember you posting about the next chapter being lamost ready, and then... nothing... :(

It's sitting on my hard drive (Buffy and Faith! Spike still stuck in the trunk!). I have like 10,000 words, but I've made the plot very complex for this next scene and I want to make sure it's just right. I'm being a perfectionist, GAH. I haven't given up on it. I think about it everyday.

I hope you enjoy the Season 8 Spuffy fic! If I don't post it today, it'll be up tomorrow. :D

Every time I compile my lists, I'm always awed by the creativity of the fandom. I know that it's less than 1% of the fanfiction posted online; I only read het and gen; I'm pretty picky. And there is so much great stuff, it's amazing.

It was a big pleasure to rec "Clocks of The Long Now" - it's a great story. Besides, it has one of the best disclaimers ever: "If it happened on a TV screen, then it happened. Otherwise it's bollocks."

You're welcome, honey. I loved the premise of "The Best Intentions" and I enjoy the story a lot. I'm a bit behind, but I'm going to catch up with the new stuff.
