I also like the way the ship is more clearly "in focus", but the actual subject of the photo appears to be the bike... like you were taking a photo of the bike, but didn't want it to know. It just has an amusingly sneaky air to it. :)
What I like are the way things are out of focus ('cause of the short DoF) that it makes everything look toy-like and the way the buildings are on the edges make it feel a little unsettled or incomplete. I also like the echoed theme of transportation machines using very different technologies. I guess it kinda comes out as pointing to several different kinds of play at the same time.
For the task of Moto Photo Tag, it's to shoot locations that are recognisable but the bike has to be in there too somehow. Most people are taking pictures of their bikes in certain locations, I'm just treating it as a necessary prop. :)
