Yay! Ducks won game 7 (with a shutout!), so going to play the Avs in the next round. har har har All the lower-seeded teams won in the West, while all the higher-seeded teams won in the East.
And also, for all who want to know if there are real ducks in Anaheim, there is an actual duck at the pond. :P She even gets her own security guard.

Hmm, haven't updated in ages, but actively commenting on others, oddly enough. End of the quarter coming up, which means projects and papers, which means update time. Heh. Kinda sick-ish again. Doodeedoo...life is interesting...Went to Vegas two weeks ago...Learning how to make liquid cultures and run gels and do PCR and use NanoDrop and extract DNA from yeast...labbing is pretty cool, except when the cultures don't grow properly, and the whole procedure has to be repeated and generally it takes a minimum of a day and a half to grow them ( Read more... )
