Laura and I are growing a small garden this year. (Well, mostly me, but you know.) Here's what we've got going on.

Christmas really was marvelous, all things considered. The baby travelled very well (though we did have to let her sleep in bed with us the whole trip), and there was just tremendous merriment to be had all around. I was tidying the kitchen and glanced at my bag of Peppermint Patties.

It said, "70% less fail!"

and I said, what?

and I looked at it again, and it said, "70% less fat!"

We love us some failblog around here, but really now.

When I leave the room, or when Daddy takes Laura into a room where I'm not, it is usually as if the sun has been torn from the sky. The dramatics can be unbelievably epic.
