Off Once Again
Leaving for the airport in an hour or so. My laptop is charged and full of anime (and a bit of Red Dwarf as well), my CD player is loaded with Opeth, and my itinerary is printed (compliments of Beth). I forgot-- apparently, I'm coming home for Spring Break. It'll be brief (primarily Sunday-Wednesday) but I will be back. I only just found out about this recently. Should be fun, though.
Absolutely no idea how busy it's going to be at this point... but hopefully I'll get to see some of you!

It turns out that the Best Buy thing was legit! I still haven't seen a confirmed store listing, but, as Beth posted, we raided the Leominster store during the first few minutes of it... long before any other anime geeks got there too, by the look of it, since we had the shelf all to ourselves the entire time. Seeing as I spent the last two weeks of work updating all the computers in the lab with various programs and getting the lab running perfectly, I think I am going to make a post during this shift, if for no other reason than boredom (and the fact that there is really no work for me to do.

I've been playing with a thought recently and I believe I have identified one of the greatest problems in the modern world, especially concerning corruption in the world of business. Well, I have finished my thesis.
However, turning it in caused me to miss lunch.
I hunger!
However, I can begin paying attention to the rest of the world once again.

I Live Even Now
Well, I went to Oregon and came back. It was very odd hitting simultaneous ice storms on both fronts, though.
First, Massachusetts. See, New England had absolutely horrible luck at the end of 2008. It rained/snowed/otherwise precipitated all over everything, then froze immediately afterward, encasing everything in a protective shell of ice. ( Read more... )
