You know what we forgot to do? We forgot to record the chorus of Genocide Generation. So, yeah, whenever Nick gets around to doing the bass parts (which better be soon!) you guys should drop some vocals on that bitch. It's "learn to behave, you're a government slave" the first time and "cradle to grave, you're a government slave" for the second.

We can't figure out what the fuck is going on with the fucking bass. It's really weird. I think it might be the superultrabassvolumething that his bass has. Actually, I just thought of that right now. You can put a 9 volt battery in the back and it boosts the sounds or whatever, so I'll suggest to him that he should try it out without that. I was also thinking that, because his bass is kind of extra loud in the way low register that the whole drop d thing is just too much or something. I don't know. Hopefully we'll figure it out.

i think what was really going on was that we just had the thing too fucking loud. it has nothing to do with the active electronics, because without the 9-volt in the back, the pickup is basically off, it works, but you can't control the tone or anything on the bass. and now that my BIG amp is fixed, i can use that. ill try fucking with it some more, but i think i know how to make it work.

and alex, you should have been there for our show, you would have been so proud of us. one of the new songs i wrote is SOOOO fucking fast. think "gone with my wind" from bedtime for democracy. yeah, its about that fast.

Dude, Alex and I tried it, like, every way imaginable, or some shit. We tried with the volume almost all the way down and the levels high enough for it to register and with the volume higher and the levels low and it all sounded the fucking same no matter what we did. But please fuck around with it some soon because I'm pretty excited to get those finished up.
