The end.
After about 3 hours chatting with HP technical support, nothing is solved. They tried a lot of stuff, nothing made any difference. My computer still hates Ray Charles CDs. Their last word was that I should (a) install a new DVD drive, just to be sure it's a sortware problem - this after they assured me that the DVD drive couldn't be the problem ( Read more... ) -

My computer trouble has taken a turn for the weird. Apparently when I said it's fuzzy and staticky with any CD, I was wrong. I only bothered testing it with two CD's, a new one and an old one. Since both of them had the problem, I assumed any CD would. No. I tried a half dozen CD's just now, and they all work fine. The two I tried last night ( Read more... ) -

mix CDs
Change of plans. Not going to upload "mix tapes" in the future (unless it's something time sensitive like a Christmas mix). Instead, I will periodically send out packages of mix CDs. Who wants them? Comment to be on my mailing list! You know you want to.
