Blech. And, it sucks up here now. The depression is finally hitting Seattle. Microsoft just announced their first wave of cuts, and 800+ (or 600+) are in the Seattle area alone. So, that's rough.

On the silver lining aspect of this, traffic was light this morning.

I'd never work on the east side anyway :-) I'd rather be poor

They had announced plans for 5000 world wide, and only did 1400 yesterday. So, there's that. :-/

And, I believe they have a Seattle campus now, as well.

But, still...that just makes it that much more difficult as that many more people are out there looking for work. (which also included the WaMu fallout and Boeing layoffs.

I'll keep my ears and eyes open.

I'd give you sympathy but you wouldn't enjoy it. So I'll say...go have a drink, it may not be all better but you won't care for a little while.

The economy sucks. :(

You should look at the east coast too. The bitter billion months of winter would suit you. :D

LOL. I'm just brilliant that way! :D

Seriously though I think you would enjoy Boston or Providence. Most of connecticut is just BLEH and not in a good way..... Vermont is nice but not much to do there.....

I would warn you about cost of living but it's basically the same as SF, so I think you're prepared that way.

Jarvis is leaving the gallery in May, you make it to back to London you’re hired. Just think about it! Back in the art world, back in London, and more importantly back where you belong; back in the game
