We're back from Universal Studios. All in all, it was a very enjoyable weekend. We went on pretty much everything, though the park's really not that big. Still a whole lot of fun though.

My tax woes continue. To surmise: I recently received a notice from the California Franchise Tax Board which stated that they had no record of payment for my 2005 taxes. They had thus oh-so-helpfully calculated them for me, and so should pay them now, OR ELSE.

Thing was, I had paid my 2005 state taxes. I had to go to my bank for validation of this ( Read more... )

I was at the bank earlier, and noticed a sign outside that stated "Please Keep off the Media." I know that they were referring to the grass/foliage, but I can't help but picture a bunch of surly teenagers standing on top of an extremely unhappy Chris Matthews.

Shannon and I were planning on driving down to Menlo Park today to have lunch with her father, but that probably won't be happening now, or any time in the near future, because of this:
