If you are jonesing for some more Irish music, I have a little in my IRELAND tag.

I almost gave up some music AGAIN D-:  due to some stuff I'm trying to work through/deal with since it's not going away easily, but nope, won't be doing that!  Irish jigs are actually excellent for getting stuff done.  I couldn't exercise to this, though - would probably fall over eventually, lol.  Sea shanties, marches...I guess I'm coming up with ( Read more... )

I've gotta German word (pronounciation assistance would be appreciated!) and an Irish Gaelic phrase....

I'm pretty partial to Póg mo thóin! (pronounced "pogue muh ho-in"). It means "Kiss My Ass!" (or Arse) in Irish Gaelic. :-D

Back when I was young and carefree, I used to have a big ole party on or around St. Patrick's Day. But now that I'm older and boring.... Needless to say, I haven't had a St. Paddy's Day party in a long while. :-(

Anywho, Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!
